Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. 5 On the sixth day they are to prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as they gather on the other days."

Small Beginnings

The first Manna Service was held on the first Sunday in September. The theme was to be "small beginnings", but a packed house proved otherwise. There was fantastic turnout.

The Manna service is comtemporary in nature and will be a little different each time. Here are the pictures of the first service in September.

We sang many praise songs. The music was fantastic!

Pastor Spike gave an abreviated message and then we had communion.

We then had time to leave praises and prayers on a community board that was incorporated into the service.

When the service was over, many gathered after for dinner and fellowship!
Manna was a great success!

Manna-What is it?

Manna (sometimes or archaically spelt mana), (Hebrew: מָ‏ן) is the name of a food which, according to the Bible, was eaten by the Israelites during their travels in the desert; until they reached Canaan, the Israelites are implied by some passages in the Bible to have eaten only manna during their desert sojourn, despite the availability of milk and meat from the livestock with which they traveled, and the references to provisions of fine flour, oil, and meat, in later parts of the journey's narrative. The name manna is said to derive from the question man hu, seemingly meaning, "what is this?"
